
Meet our Scholars
Sharon Yebuno
Scholar Since 2022
Sharon is 8 years old and in Grade 1 at Berekum Presbyterian C School. Her mother is disabled and often finds it difficult to care for her so she receives endless love & support from her grandmother, teachers and community. Sharon hopes to become a nurse.


Philipa Acheampomaa
Scholar Since 2022
Philipa is 7 years old and is part of the Grade 2 class at Senase Methodist B. She was orphaned after the passing of both parents, but was adopted by a teacher at her school. Philipa hopes to become a lawyer in the future.
Christabel Frimpomaa
Scholar Since 2022
Christabel is 12 years old and currently attends Grade 6 at Senase Methodist B. She moved in with her grandmother after her mother’s passing and has since been determined to support her family through education. Christabel’s dream is to attend law school.


Vincentia Adu
Scholar Since 2022
Vincentia is 9 years old and in Grade 3 at Biadan R/C Basic School. Her education has become a refuge away from her financial problems at home and she dreams of becoming a nurse. Vincentia currently resides with her mother who relies on the family farm for income.
Claudia Faabea
Scholar Since 2022
Claudia is 11 years old and currently in Grade 4 at Biadan Primary Methodist. She was nominated for the scholarship by her teachers, all of whom see the potential she has. Claudia has a passion for helping others and wishes to become a nurse.


Leticia Serwaa
Scholar Since 2022
Leticia is 12 years old and in Grade 6 at Mpatapo M/A Basic. She currently lives with her mother and is driven to work hard and make her family proud. Leticia is also the goalkeeper for her school’s football team.
Aya Scholar Eligibility Requirements
For students to be considered as eligible to apply for the Aya Scholarship program, they must meet the following criteria:
- Currently be enrolled in grade 1-6 in a government school
- Be in good standing with their teacher/headmaster, as indicated by their endorsement
- Consistent school attendance and valid report card from previous term
- Desire to improve quality of life and accessible resources to village community & school
